Why is a clutch purse so darn cute?

I’m a purse freak, and I have one of just about every kind of purse there is. I have so many that my husband threatens to move out just so he can get some closet space. He’s kidding (I hope) but he does have a point. There are just too many purses in my closet and it’s a good thing I’m not into buying designer labels. We may have had to declare bankruptcy if I were. Though I use some of them to some degree, I have only ever used a clutch purse once, even though I own about five of them.

The problem I have with the clutch purse is twofold. The first problem is that they are so darned cute I can’t help but buy one on occasion. The second problem that I have with a clutch purse is that I can’t keep a hold of them. I used one on a night when my husband and I went out for our anniversary. I lost it about six times that night, though luckily I ended up finding it each time. If it doesn’t have a handle, I can’t seem to remember to pick it up. I love the way they look, but I just can’t seem to remember that I have one with me.

A great clutch purse can make an outfit complete. I’m not much of a clotheshorse, but I have friends who are. If you have a great dress, a matching clutch purse is almost a must if you want to look great. A big bulky purse can really detract from the look of a great evening dress, and this is the main reason why many women will go without a purse rather than carry a larger one. The tiny purse is perfect.

Though you can get a clutch purse that has a chain with it, it is almost as if that doesn’t matter. No one wants to have something hanging off their shoulder when they are wearing a really great dress. I can understand that. If I wore dresses more often I would whole-heartedly agree! If you have an evening dress that makes you look great, make sure you opt for the clutch purse to complete the luck. Just be more conscious of where you put it than I was, or you may end up losing it. Have a friend or your spouse help you keep an eye on it if you fear you might be just like me.
